Block Island School High School students were lucky enough to have a presentation about the BRUV(baited remote underwater vehicle) submersibles today. Dr. Lorrie Martin lead the presentation at Block Island Maritime Institute.

The Block Island School will have an early dismissal on Monday April eighth at 1:15 in the afternoon. We are doing this out of an abundance of caution regarding the solar eclipse. More information can be found on the Community Update being sent out later this afternoon.

The Girls Varsity Basketball advances to the Semifinals against Johnson High. Lady Canes play Friday 3/1 5:30pm. If they win, they play Monday @ 4pm in the State Finals @ the AMP.

Due to the forecast for a nor'easter, The Block Island School will hold a virtual learning day tomorrow, Tuesday 2/13/24. Similar to the past virtual learning day, all classes will have 3 hours of synchronous instruction. We will use the same schedule from 8:00am to 11:53am.
